The Challenge
Social Care Wales needed to raise awareness and understanding of the National Data Resource (NDR), a major step toward improving information sharing between health and social care services in Wales. The aim was to clearly explain how the NDR works and its real-world benefits, making complex data systems feel accessible to professionals and the public alike.
The solution
We created a bilingual animated explainer video that uses relatable storytelling and clean visuals to show how the NDR helps professionals collaborate more effectively. This public sector animation highlights how securely shared data can improve care, reduce errors, and support better planning across Wales. One of six educational animations we produced for the campaign, this video brings clarity to an ambitious digital transformation that puts people at the centre.
It was a good experience working with the Animated Technologies team, they advised us very well and exceeded our expectations.
We are really pleased with the outcome and it certainly does fulfil our requirements.
