The Challenge
Gwynedd Council wanted to show how schools could turn unused, biodiversity-poor areas (like the edge of the school field) into rich natural habitats. The animation needed to be educational, engaging, and accessible to pupils and teachers alike; encouraging a deeper connection with nature and understanding of seasonal land management practices in school environments.

The solution
With biodiversity being an important subject to us, we created a heartfelt 2D explainer video in both Welsh and English, following a young girl’s journey to bring biodiversity back to her school. Using our skills in visual storytelling with a soft, personal touch, the animated explainer video highlights the power of outdoor learning and how small changes can have a big impact on the natural world.
